We are selling a lot of (50 SLUGS) .50 Caliber (sized .495) Penetrator 380 grain slugs, which have good rifling contact with less friction.
I wanted a pellet to punch through things, and this is version 1. This is a soft lead pellet and works well, within a week there will also be a dual alloy pellet of the same size that will have a tip that is 30% antimony. All the barrel contact areas of the pellet and the base will be sound lead and perform like any other pellet, but the super hard tip will be excellent for penetration.
